I am excited to share my passion and knowledge for music with you!

Hello, I’m Tony!

I’m excited to share my passion for music and teaching with you. With over 15 years of experience as an educator in both classroom and private settings, I have guided students of all ages—from preschoolers to adults—on their musical journeys.

I earned my degree from The California Jazz Conservatory, where I focused on piano, guitar, and music production. I have been playing professionally since my teenage years, performing in a variety of styles and traditions from around the world. This diverse background enriches my teaching and allows me to share valuable insights with my students.

Growing up in a musical family, I followed in my mother’s footsteps as a music educator. Her dedication sparked my appreciation for the transformative power of music and the importance of nurturing creativity in others. I strive to create a supportive environment where students can explore their interests and develop their skills.

Originally from a small town in West Marin, I pride myself on fostering a sense of community in my studio. My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s unique goals and learning styles, whether they aspire to play their favorite songs, prepare for performances, or delve into music theory.

Thank you for considering my studio as you embark on your musical journey. I look forward to connecting with you and making music together!

‘‘My goal is to create an interactive learning experience for my students that plants the seeds of wonder and builds foundations for a long and fruitful relationship with music. Whether working on traditional, classical, jazz, popular or other styles of music my philosophy is an integrated and tailored-to-the-student approach.’’
